7:45? Better make it quarter to eight

I found an interesting article from David Ziser's blog. He posted a short video going over his technique for shooting wedding formal pictures. One of the interesting points he mentioned was that he always suggests the actual time when talking to the bride. "Let's start doing portraits at 3pm" for a 6pm wedding as opposed to "3 hours before the wedding". It is funny how a small change in our wording can make the same statement much more agreeable to someone. Guess I should have payed more attention in Dale Carnegie.
